This store is my favourite! I will not go anywhere else for flooring or furnishings Their light dept is beautiful fantastic quality lighting and wonderful service and have a lighting lady who goe's beyond to help and assist. I bought 2 chandeliers and love them and awaiting delivery of a lovely wall light to go with my new panelling.Bought a wall light on amazon but only suitable for a bedroom and bit tacky but the lights in Clarkes ooze style and quality

Recently purchased all our downstairs floors from Clarkes. Firstly we dealt with Luke who was amazing and helpful and very professional. We went back to order our hall flooring and we dealt with one of the Directors, whom was distracted and he wrote our order down incorrectly. We know this as I had the correct flooring in my hand and we also had to return to give then the name of the flooring in the downstairs loo. On the day of fitting we realised that we had been sent the wrong colour. When we called all they said is that is what's on the ordered, we did not get a copy of the order mailed to us until 2 weeks later. It turns out we actually like the new colour but Clarkes would not know this as the Director in question never bothered to return our calls. I have always used Clarkes and they have some good people there but this incident and the lack of accountability has put me off, so will not be using them again. All it would have taken is a phone call to say sorry.

I needed a small piece of vinyl for a toilet. I had already laid a piece but wasn't happy with it.Went into Clarkes and picked out new piece of vinyl and in less than a week Mark, the vinyl fitter came and I am so happy. He took so much care fitting the design how I wanted it. He cleared up brilliantly, was polite, a total credit to the company. First class job done, thank you.

Buying carpets should always be like this!! We wanted to match an existing carpet and they couldn't have been more helpful in achieving this. Their salesman and the estimator who visited were professional and friendly. The order arrived quickly and fitting was soon arranged. On the day we mistakenly thought the wrong carpet had been sent. John, the fitter called Clarkes, explained options to us and then went off on another job while we went to the shop to sort the problem. Ben was very helpful in assisting us, so it was rather embarrassing when we arrived home that we found a sample of the original carpet, which matched the one delivered. John duly returned and it was job done. Many thanks to all involved.

Fantastic selection and good prices. The best bit for me was the customer service - Ben who helped me to purchase the carpet and the lovely carpet fitting team who couldn’t have been nicer, more professional or any quicker! Excellent, high quality work and my carpet looks and feels beautiful. Really happy. Thanks guys! (Hasn’t been hoovered yet in the pic - it’s freshly laid)
